Area 3 Management Company (A3MC) is a company that is owned by the four bus operators in the Sydney Metropolitan area know as region 3. These companies include:

• Westbus (a member of the Comfort Delgro Cabcharge Group)
• MetroLink
• Hopkinsons
• Busabout

The main operating areas for Region 3 stretches from Parramatta in the north, Horsley Park in the west, the main South railway line to the east passing through Merrylands, Fairfield and Cabramatta, and Liverpool to the south.

Everyday our buses are transporting thousands of passengers to work, school, shopping or fun activates, quickly, safely and without the hassles of traffic stress and frustration.

With fast, frequent and convenient bus routes you can gain access to most places between the major centres of Parramatta, Merrylands, Fairfield, Prairiewood, Bonnyrigg, Cabramatta and Liverpool, or connect to a CityRail train service for travel to all other areas of metropolitan Sydney.

Our Fleet

The A3MC Fleet comprises an extensive selection of many bus makes and models from a range of body builders. The mainstay workhorse of the fleet are modern Scania and Volvo chassis buses.

Our bus fleets are maintained to exceptionally high standards at regular service intervals by our our group of trained mechanics and engineers. Vehicles are kept clean, neat and tidy at all times, and where possible cleaned at least weekly with body repairs made as soon as possible to keep the quality fleet look.

New vehicles are being added continuously to the fleet with the NSW Government's Growth Bus Scheme. This scheme ensures new vehicles are introduced yearly to meet with business growth and with future Disability needs of the travelling public.

Professional Staff

Staff at A3MC are the most important asset we maintain. All staff are professionally trained and managers ensure our customers are exposed to services which meet our stringent quality control requirements.

Bus drivers are fully qualified and selected for their impeccable driving skills, their friendly approach to dealing with passengers and knowledge of the region and services A3MC offers.

A3MC management works closely with staff to ensure that services offered are first class and suit the needs of the ever changing moving public.

A3MC and the Environment

The environment plays an important part in our philosophy and attitude to ensuring we reduce our carbon footprint and reduce stress on the Sydney environment. Some of the ways we are helping the environment is by:

• Ensuring all our buses operate in the most effective way, including servicing to reduce fuel wastage, reduce the number of kilometres they operate without any passengers and keeping them as clean as possible without wasting our precious water resource.
• Investigating new fuel technologies and modern devices to reduce the amount of particulates entering the atmosphere.
• Providing customer information in an environmentally friendly manner including printing on recycled paper where possible and reducing wastage by encouraging passengers to recycle old timetables or pass unused timetables to friends, relatives or back to our company for re-distribution.
• Encouraging people in all areas we operate to use our services and reduce the traffic congestion in their area, especially around major centres and venues.
• Training our staff to recognise ways in which they too can reduce our carbon footprint on the environment.
